About

Pulling from an array of influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Peter Green to Hans Zimmer and Rachmonnivnov, Mike creates music for film, sync licensing, live blues and rock n roll. Beginning on piano at age 7, and then adding guitar at age 16, Mike has been playing music live and composing for 20+ years. He studied under Dr. Robert Miller at East Stroudsburg University where he performed a number of solo compositions for piano. After college he cut his teeth living and playing music in New York City for over a decade. He toured the US with his rock band, Mother, bi-coastal hard rock band, Vagus Nerve, Militia Vox, and his psych blues outfit GSM Trio. Recently relocated to Nashville, Mike has started a new musical journey as a lead singer/guitarist/songwriter/composer. Steeped in American blues and rock with atmospheric elements reminiscent of Pink Floyd, Mike channels the soulful blues vocals of Gregg Allman, Otis Rush, and Paul Rodgers; intertwined with heavy guitar influence from Peter Green, David Gilmour, and Jimi Hendrix. The sound is familiar yet fresh and all his own.
